Richard Bickel and I put the boat in at the Wewahitchka boat ramp and headed through the cutoff looking for houseboat activities. It was the weekend of Katrina and everyone was glued to the TV. However, we stopped by to visit a father on the water with his two boys fishing and having a quiet Saturday afternoon on the river fishing from the houseboat.
